Letter From The President

Welcome to the 2017 – 2018 School Year!

Here at Bellows your child will receive great instruction from amazing teachers and staff that go above and beyond to make sure every child works towards their goal. But academics is not the only thing your child will receive... When you enrolled your child in Bellows, you became part of our family, and what a beautiful, diverse, multi-cultural family it is! One of my favorite activities is International Night. Last year 52 different countries were represented and celebrated at this school, what an incredible experience for our families!

The Parent Teacher Association of Bellows Springs works hard to offer free activities like Movie Nights, Fall Festival, Bingo Night, Cultural Arts Assemblies and many more! We also support our teachers who develop the Fall and Spring Plays; you wouldn't imagine the amount of talent we have at our school! The PTA wants your family to feel welcome in our school and our community.

Being part of the PTA has not only given me an opportunity to spend time with my child, but to  meet the other parents, teachers, staff and custodians that make this school so wonderful! The PTA is always welcoming new members. We meet the second Monday of every month to discuss our current activities as well academic programs and information. There is an array of volunteer opportunities that range from becoming a committee chair to just volunteering for your favorite activity.

If you are interested in the PTA come to one of our meetings to try it out!

Have a great year!

Elizabeth M Avilés PTA President
